Carp Fest and Droppin' of the Carp
I have never missed a dropping of the Carp, and don't ever plan on missing one! The main reason I love the dropping so much, is because of how family friendly it is. Where else can you take your kids to a new years event where you ALL have fun? From the dancing, to the bon fire, great food, music, kissing Lucky for good luck, it's all fun!

Torchlight ski event was excellent idea

Dear Editor, Our family had a great time down at the La Riviere Park for the local "Torchlight Ski, Hike and. Sledding" event. Other family and friends joined us as well.
What a great time it was being together on such a beautiful winter evening. All of us had a great time sledding, and the campfire and hot chocolate was a great addition to the whole evening! Thank you to the Carp Fest Committee on hosting this event!
